Birchope’s local and an easy walk from the door. A wonderfully traditional country pub in a beautiful spot beside the river - ideal for a pint after a walk in the hills, Sunday lunch by the fire or a summer afternoon in the garden.

The Poetry Pharmacy, Bishop's Castle
A wonderfully unusual bookshop and coffee house dispensing poetry instead of medicine. You'll find it at 36 High Street in Bishop's Castle.
